I wanted to capture the complexity of apathy and its presence in a toxic relationship. I chose this topic because I believe that so often, it's not just malice that ruins a relationship—it's an overwhelming feeling of indifference. With this poster, I tried to evoke the emotions one feels when they feel disconnected from someone they care about: despondency, heartache, detachment. It’s almost like a reminder that even though we can be far apart, our relationships still exist. Apathy is powerful and destructive; I wanted this poster to reflect the delicate and nuanced feelings that go along with it.
