This project was a study of typeface creation, something I have always been intrigued by. Crafting unique letter forms was a tedious yet thrilling process that took a lot of hard work and determination. Using the lyric "Kickstart the motor", from a song by The Go! Team, I sought to have the type reflect the essence of the band.

 The challenge I faced while designing the typeface was finding a way to reflect both the meaning of the lyric as well as making sure it would look aesthetically pleasing when printed out. This entailed using design elements such as visual hierarchy and readability. After spending a lot of time tweaking every single aspect of each letterform, I managed to create a modern and visually impactful typeface with plenty of energy that reflected both the concept behind it and its titular song.

 This entire experience served as an important milestone in my graphic design career, marking the moment I realized just how much one could accomplish through perseverance and dedication. It certainly was not easy making my own typeface from scratch, but looking at this completed work today makes me grateful for going through this process.
